Royal Delft Blue

"De Porceleyne Fles", the Royal Dutch Delftware Manufactory was established in 1653 and is the last remaining Delftware factory from that century. According to old tradition, Royal Delftware is entirely hand-painted.

A trip to Southern Holland for a visit to Royal delft includes a museum with antique Delft pieces, the dining room of Vermeer and the Dutch Royal family Chamber, Ceramic rooms with building ceramics, a historical courtyard, a visit of the factory, seeing a master painter at work as well as a journey trhough the history of Blue Delft and Royal Delft and its development and production process.

If you prefer not going that far, you can see a subsidiary of the Royal Delft Experience at Muntplein 12.
