"De Porceleyne Fles", the Royal Dutch Delftware Manufactory was established in 1653 and is the last remaining Delftware factory from that century. According to old tradition, Royal Delftware is entirely hand-painted.
A trip to Southern Holland for a visit to Royal delft includes a museum with antique Delft pieces, the dining room of Vermeer and the Dutch Royal family Chamber, Ceramic rooms with building ceramics, a historical courtyard, a visit of the factory, seeing a master painter at work as well as a journey trhough the history of Blue Delft and Royal Delft and its development and production process.
If you prefer not going that far, you can see a subsidiary of the Royal Delft Experience at Muntplein 12.
