Open in 1891 this amazing market hall in Berlin-Moabit was the 10th of 14th covered markets constructed in Berlin at the end the 19th century. Reported as an architecture monument it reopen its doors in 2010 as a “place for good things”, featuring many fine but budget restaurants, culture events and life music.
Get a better look over the city and pay a visit to one of the Berlin’s viewpoints. Besides the classics TV Tower, Reichstag and Siegessaule, our personal tip goes to Klunkerkranich, a charming roof bar in Berlin-Neukölln.
Berlin’s legendary nightlife became the mecca for electronic music lovers. Besides a program full of acclaimed DJs, many of the clubs in town have crazy light effects, powerful sound systems and unique atmosphere. You don’t want to miss that.
Berlin has a strong second-hand culture. If you have good eyes, old but nice and stylish clothes and furniture can be found in special shops and, of course, in flea markets, spread all around the city. The biggest and most famous is Mauer Park, taking place every Sunday in Prenzlauer Berg.
